Peace and quiet

Le Presbytère was originally the holiday house for the bishop of Narbonne, his summer retreat where he could enjoy peace and quiet at the foot of the Bugarach mountain.

Behind the imposing stone building is the garden and it oozes tranquility. Here you can sit down and relax at the end of an active day walking or sightseeing.

Part of it is set up as a vegetable garden, where Sandra and Erik grow their vegetables.
In March, when the spring sun warms the soil, they are busy sowing and planting. From May onwards, guests can enjoy the fruits of their daily labour!

A short walk will take you to the lake located on the outskirts of the village. Take the opportunity to swim or to sunbath and admire the view of the village and the surrounding countryside.
